About me

My journey with the piano began in early childhood.

At around the age of six, in 1982, I developed an interest in the piano and, at the age of seven, started taking piano lessons with Teddy Heinen in Luxembourg.

I later continued my musical education at the École Régionale de Musique de la Ville de Dudelange, where I studied with Madame Jeanne Weber-Welschbillig for several years. During this time, I took part in piano examinations and had the opportunity to attend piano courses and masterclasses in France and Greece. These experiences allowed me to discover different approaches to music and piano playing.

At the age of 19, I returned to Teddy Heinen, my former piano teacher — this time not only as a student, but also as a piano teacher myself.

My musical education then continued at the École Régionale de Musique de la Ville d’Echternach, where I further developed my piano skills with Madame Frima Benenson.

Since 2017, I have continued my musical education at the École de Musique de l’UGDA in Mamer with Madame Caroline Bormann. Over the past three years, I have also completed my training in “Pratique au clavier” under her guidance. This training has allowed me to further develop my skills in accompanying other instruments and to explore four-hand piano playing.

These experiences have shown me that music is not only about playing, but also about listening, connecting and creating something together.

WHY PIANO ?

For me, the piano has never been only about playing the right notes. It has always been a place where I can listen, discover, remember and simply be myself.

Over the years, my relationship with music has changed and grown with me. Some pieces bring back memories, while others allow me to discover something completely new. And sometimes, sitting down at the piano is simply a quiet moment for myself.

I love discovering a piece little by little – finding its character, listening to its colours and trying to understand what the music wants to say.

The piano has accompanied me since childhood. It has been a place for learning, expressing myself and finding moments of calm – something I have always returned to.

Today, I continue to play and to develop my relationship with music.
